Building in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Sarajevo City Center is a large shopping, hotel and office complex in the Marijin Dvor district, on the main boulevard linking the airport with the old town. Opened in early 2014, with over 100,000 square metres of floor space, it is one of the biggest commercial buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has three parts: a shopping and leisure centre, a five-star hotel tower and an office tower, above a four-level underground car park for more than 1,100 cars. The mall has around 160 stores of international and local brands in fashion, sport and technology, a large supermarket, restaurants and cafés, and children's play areas, so Sarajevans come here to shop and stroll on rainy or snowy days. Its media façade is one of the largest video screens in Europe. It sits close to government institutions, the major museums, the university campus and the Avaz Twist Tower, and the tram reaches the old town in about five minutes.
Handy for shopping, a warm break in winter, or picking up travel needs at fixed prices. Spend as long as you like. The tram stops nearby at Marijin Dvor. Combine it with the National Museum, the History Museum and the Avaz Twist Tower close by.
