Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, also known as Pavilion KL, is a shopping centre situated in the Bukit Bintang district in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, or Pavilion KL, is a luxury shopping centre in the heart of Bukit Bintang, the Malaysian capital's best-known shopping district, and the anchor of an integrated development that includes two luxury residential towers and an office building. The mall holds about 450 stores arranged in six distinctive precincts: Couture Pavilion for international luxury brands, Bintang Circle, Gourmet Emporium for food, Connection, Seventh Heaven and Home, together with cinemas and art spaces. Its forecourt is famous for a large crystal fountain that has become one of the city's favourite photo spots and for its elaborate seasonal decorations at festivals and Chinese New Year. Restaurants are spread throughout the mall: most of those on the ground floor are Western-themed and aimed at tourists, while the basement level has a good range of Malaysian restaurants with many halal options, according to Wikivoyage. A covered, air-conditioned pedestrian bridge links the mall to the KLCC district and the Petronas Twin Towers, so visitors can walk between them out of the heat and rain, and it is a few steps from Bukit Bintang station (monorail and MRT) and from the Arab restaurants of Jalan Bukit Bintang.
According to Wikivoyage (2026) the mall is open daily 10:00 to 22:00. Use the covered walkway to reach KLCC and the Petronas Towers in about 15 air-conditioned minutes. For reasonably priced halal food head to the basement level and the food court, or to the nearby Arab Street restaurants. Prayer rooms are available inside the mall (ask at the information desk). Weekdays are quieter than weekends, and the forecourt fills with photographers in the evening. Bukit Bintang station is a few steps away.
