The International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization is a scholarly and cultural project devoted to presenting the life, character and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the moderate message of Islam, under the supervision of the Muslim World League. Its main site is on the southern side of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, a few steps from the Rawda. The exhibition is arranged in 25 pavilions that trace the Prophet's biography in minute detail on the basis of the Quran and the authentic Sunna: his daily life, his home, his character, his clothing and food, his mosque, his campaigns and his migration, together with pavilions on Islamic civilization. It uses the latest display methods, from scale models and holograms to interactive video, with explanations in many languages. It has become one of the most popular destinations for visitors to Madinah who want to deepen their knowledge of the Prophet in the very city where he lived, and it suits families, children and groups.
Open Sunday to Thursday 08:00–22:30, Friday 13:00–22:30 and Saturday 16:30–23:30 (per Wikivoyage, 2026). Allow at least two hours and ask at the entrance for a guide in your language; the guided tours are far richer. The quietest times are between Isha and closing, once worshippers have left the mosque, or mid-morning on weekdays. It is a short walk from the southern courtyard of the Prophet's Mosque.
