About Antalya Aquarium

Antalya Aquarium is a large entertainment complex in the Konyaalti district of Antalya, built by the city municipality on a build-operate-transfer model and ranked among the five most visited attractions in Turkey. It consists of a huge public aquarium and other enclosed zones, best known among them the Snow World, which lets visitors experience snow and ice in the heart of the hot Mediterranean coast. The highlight is the long underwater viewing tunnel, one of the longest aquarium tunnels in the world, where sharks, rays and thousands of colourful fish swim overhead, along with dozens of themed tanks from the Mediterranean to tropical oceans, reptile halls and interactive displays, plus restaurants and gift shops. It is a favourite with families with children and an air-conditioned refuge on hot summer days, and the visit pairs well with nearby Konyaalti beach and the Antalya Museum on the same road.
