Flower garden in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Dubai Miracle Garden is the world's largest natural flower garden, located in Dubailand and covering more than 72,000 square metres. It opened on 14 February 2013 and each season displays over 150 million blooms of some 120 varieties, arranged into giant flower-covered shapes and structures: arches, hearts, houses, clocks, birds and cartoon characters, the most famous being a full-size Emirates A380 aircraft clad in flowers. In 2015 the garden won the Moselle Award for New Garden Experiences at the Garden Tourism Awards, and it has become one of Dubai's most popular family destinations, with designs that change every season, flower-shaded walkways, benches, cafes and children's play areas. The garden is seasonal: it opens in the cooler months and closes during the hot summer, so check the season dates before planning. Some visitors find it a little kitschy, but for families, children and photographers it is a cheerful experience unlike any other.
In season, open Monday to Friday 09:00–21:00 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00–22:00, with tickets around AED 55 (per Wikivoyage, 2026); the garden closes in summer, so confirm the season dates. Come at opening time or before sunset to avoid heat and crowds, and allow two hours. Bring a hat and water, as shade is limited. There is a prayer room and light food inside; reach it by taxi or bus from Mall of the Emirates metro station. The Butterfly Garden next door has a separate ticket.
